April's Action

Spring has sprung in Green County! Tulsa is so beautiful in the Spring and the Tulsa Yoga Community is ready to out of the studio and take our practice outdoors!

Here is a list of classes and events I am currently offering:

~My rooftop yoga class above Ascent on Cherry Street (class is during the Farmers Market!) begins Saturday, April 14th and runs through mid October. Class time for the season is 9am-10:15am. Class investment is $15 or $50 for a four class package. Please check www.livepresentyoga.com or the Ascent Facebook page for updates on weather/holiday cancelations. ALL proceeds for my opening rooftop class will go to the 306 Phoenix House! LOVE!

Incase you haven't heard, the 306 Phoenix House is a community gathering space dedicated to awakening, healing, nurturing, and inspiring EACH OTHER. The house will be offering a wide range of mindful living opportunities. Their opening weekend beings Friday, April 13th and goes through the weekend. Check out their site to learn more about their exciting weekend, you don't want to miss this. I will be teaching the first of many community classes at the House on Saturday, April 14th from 12pm-1pm. www.306phoenixhouse.com

~Up next, my long awaited yoga event "Vino and Vinyasa Under the Stars" held on the rooftop of Ascent on Cherry Street is returning! The first event for the year will be Thursday, April 19th from 7pm-10pm. The event investment is $15. Class is from 8pm-9pm with a wine mixer at Ascent before and after with a 15% store discount offered by Ascent! If you plan to have a glass of wine please be prepared to show your ID :) This event ALWAYS SELLS OUT so don't delay purchasing your ticket to hold your spot. ~I am headed back to the Canebrake in Wagoner, OK. If you have not checked out this hidden jewel in Oklahoma now is a great chance! Attention to detail is the Canebrakes mission. Fresh, local foods, amazing grounds, comfy cottages and the most beautiful yoga studio I have taught in . Join me on Saturday, May 12th. We will be meeting at the bar inside the Canebrake at 2pm for an optional hike/stroll with follow yogis, I'm very excited to get off the mat and play in nature with you! My class will be from 5pm-7pm. The class will begin with 75 minutes of sweat before a blissful 45 of sweet surrender! Group dinner and/or a stay with the Canebrake is an options as well. My last class at the Canebrake SOLD OUT so don't delay calling the Canebrake to register.(918)-485-1810. Let ME know if you want to join for a group dinner following class as reservations are needed. ~Join my yogi friend Adrianne Thomas at Easter Island Music Festival. She will be teaching yoga April, Friday the 13th at 6:30pm and Saturday the 14th at 6:30pm. ~Our most recent addition to the Lululemon family is the amazing Keri Edwards, congrats Keri! Music makes people happy. Yoga makes people happy. Go to Happy Yoga with Keri at Saied Music on 71st, Wednesday evenings for 70 minutes of Hatha Yoga, green smoothies offered after class and live music once a month. http://www.facebook.com/HappyYoga

This spring try slowing down. Bring your full awareness not just to the blooming trees and flowers but to what may be blooming inside of you!
